A challenging par 4 to begin your round, considered by many to be the toughest opening hole in the county. The tee shot needs to be well placed to negotiate the fairway which slopes left to right to open up the approach to a raised green. The green is one of the most demanding on the course which gives an early indication of the challenge to come. Most will happily take a 5 here and run to the next tee! Pro's Tip A slight draw from the tee helps hold the left side of the fairway giving the best approach to the green. Avoid missing the green left as this will present a very challenging up and down to save par.
